A little Dalmatian was recently rescued and delivered to us, thanks to our very good friend, Paul Schneider (President, L.A. County Fire Museum). Now, Blaze has a brand new little assistant named DOTTIE. After giving her a few days to familiarize herself with her brand new home, Dottie is already attending “Fire Doggie Recruit Academy”—learning to sit up on the Steamer and answer to her new name. She has met with the public during two recent events and shows lots of promise atop the steamer. Finally, after almost 13 years of extremely loyal service, Blaze gets to have an afternoon rest during our busy events!
